Habibie & Ainun Monument

Dubbed as the Monument of True Love, the monument was built in commemoration of the third Indonesian president Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie and his wife Hasri Ainun Besari. Surrounded by streams of water fountains, the monument was inaugurated on their 53rd wedding anniversary.

Tompangnge Cave

(30 minutes drive)

The Tompangnge Cave is well-known as a tourist attraction due to its high population of bats. Although visitors can only go so far inside before they run out of oxygen, the complex spans approximately 100 hectares as an environmental conservation site. It is also the home of a waterfall, where the water flows down the roots of trees on top of the hill.
