This museum offers historical spaces in direct-relation to the events of drafting the proclamation script, making it a nationallevel historical tourist destination. Among its collections, there is a historic typewriter used to type the proclamation script, serving as important material that connects visitors with that historic moment. By continually improving the public services, the Museum of Drafting of Independence Proclamation Manuscript also functions as a place to introduce the figures of the proclamation and a center that allows the public to reflect and contemplate on the important historical events- to help enrich the nation’s understanding of the history and culture of Indonesia.
