Gogos Satay

Gogos Satay, also known as Shellfish Satay, is a traditional dish from Southeast Sulawesi, especially in Kendari and its surroundings. This dish is made from green shellfish that are boiled and sautéed with special spices, then served with sambal and fresh vegetables. Gogos Satay has a soft texture and a savory taste with a slight sweetness.

Taste
Gogos Satay offers a unique combination of flavors: the savory taste from the shellfish, a touch of sweetness from the seasoning, and a slight tanginess from the sambal. The taste is very delicious and can be quite addictive.

Ingredients and Preparation Process
Green shellfish, ground spices (garlic, shallots, bird’s eye chili, galangal, coriander, salt), soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, lime juice, and cooking oil.
