The Al-Kautsar Grand Mosque is located on Drs. H. Abdullah Silondae Street, Mandonga Village, Mandonga District, Kendari City. It is situated approximately 2 kilometers from the city center, near the Religious Monument (Ex-MTQ area) in Korumba Village, Mandonga District. In 1962, the mosque was known as the “soldiers’ mosque” due to its location within the Military Resort Command (Korem) area. The mosque building holds significant historical value, as its establishment was initiated in the 1970s by Edy Sabara in Kendari City.
