The Makam Batu Layar (Batu Layar Tomb) is a highly revered and sacred pilgrimage site located on a hill overlooking the coastline in the Batu Layar area of West Lombok, close to the famous Senggigi Beach. This complex is the resting place of a respected Islamic figure, widely believed to be a great Syekh or religious scholar, often named as Syeikh Batulayar or Sayid Duhri Al-Haddad Al-Hadrami, who played a crucial role in propagating Islam in Lombok.
