Gunung Kerinci

It’s the highest volcano in Indonesia and the tallest peak in Sumatra, offering amazing views of dense tropical rainforests, tea plantations, and breathtaking scenery from the summit. Hiking via Kersik Tuo usually takes around 2 days 1 night or 3 days 2 nights. Kerinci is quite humid, so bring extra clothes and a dry bag. Gaiters are also useful to protect your feet from leeches. Best Time: Dry season (June - September).
