Noken Street Fashion Show

Noken Street Fashion Show is a creative event showcasing the works of local fashion designers, featuring clothing, bags, accessories such as hairpins, hats, earrings, bracelets, and other creative items made from local materials. In 2025, the show will highlight fashion creations using echo green materials—locally sourced, easy to cultivate, and environmentally sustainable.

The 2025 edition will focus on eco-friendly batik creations and innovations made from natural, local materials. The event will involve talented youth from Jayawijaya in fashion, combined with the unique seasonal bloom of red grass (Owasi Owasika) which only blossoms in May in Jayawijaya. The show will also feature eco-friendly, upcycled fashion designs, aiming to raise awareness about environmental protection.
