The building is well-maintained and in excellent condition. It features an original Chinese cave, a Bilal funnel, a Qur'anic drum, and a pulpit. The Tangka Tompong Old Mosque was built on the initiative of 12 indigenous communities and the government, with assistance from the community and donors. Today, the mosque serves as a religious center in Bantaeng Regency.
