Museum Aceh is one of the cultural and historical tourist destinations in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province. This museum was first built in 1915 by the Dutch colonial government as a place to store historical and cultural artifacts of Aceh. Its main building is shaped like a traditional Acehnese house, Rumoh Aceh, which is a major attraction due to its unique design.

Museum Aceh is located on Jl. Sultan Alaidin Mahmudsyah, Banda Aceh, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Its strategic location in the heart of Banda Aceh makes it close to other popular destinations, such as the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque.

How to Get There
By Air:
Visitors can fly to Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport. From the airport, the distance to Museum Aceh is approximately a 30-minute drive by car or taxi.
By Land:
From Banda Aceh city center, the museum is accessible using public transportation such as motorized rickshaws or private vehicles, taking less than 15 minutes.

1. Exhibition Room: Showcases collections of historical artifacts, such as ancient manuscripts, traditional tools, and Acehnese weapons.
2. Rumoh Aceh: A traditional building that serves as a cultural icon of Aceh.

Open daily, except on national holidays. Operating hours are from 08:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
