The Hunto Sultan Amai Mosque is the oldest mosque in Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. It was established in 1495 by Sultan Amai, the first ruler of the Gorontalo Kingdom to embrace Islam. The name "Hunto" is derived from the word "Ilohuntungo," which means the center of Islamic religious gathering during that period.
