Makam Syekh Maulana Syamsudin

"The Makam Syekh Maulana Syamsudin (Tomb of Syekh Maulana Syamsudin) is a highly prominent and sacred pilgrimage site located right on the north coast of Java, specifically in the Tanjungsari area, Sugihwaras Village, Pemalang Regency, Central Java.  Syekh Maulana Syamsudin is a revered figure in the local history of Islam, often known by the title ""Ki Jogo Segoro"" (The Guardian of the Sea), reflecting his spiritual influence and his role in spreading Islam along the coastal region. Although some sources suggest he was a contemporary of the Demak Sultanate era, others place his life around the 18th century, with his complete name often cited as Sayyid Hasan Syamsuddin bin Awwadh Al-Alawi, descended from Syekh Abdul Qodir Al-Jaelani."
