The Jami Mosque in Palu, Central Sulawesi, is the oldest mosque in the city, built in 1812 by a prominent convert named H. Borahima. The mosque bears witness to the early spread of Islam in Palu and was originally constructed simply using wood and thatch before undergoing several renovations. To this day, the Jami Mosque stands strong and serves as a cultural heritage site of significant historical value to the local community.
