Gorontalo Karnaval Karawo 2026

Gorontalo Karawo Carnival is an iconic annual festival of Gorontalo Province, held since 2011. The event has been listed in the Top 100 Calendar of Events (COE) and included five times in the Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN). This festival showcases the beauty of Karawo, Gorontalo’s traditional embroidery, through a series of engaging programs such as the Digital Karawo Motif Design Competition, Storytelling Competition, music performances, Jelajah Rasa Nusantara, and a creative product exhibition. The highlight is the Karawo Carnival, involving communities, government, creative industry players, and the public.
