The Sheikh Abdul Mannan Salabose Ancient Mosque still stands firmly in the middle of a residential area in Salabose, Pangali-ali Village, Banggae District, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi. The mosque, which is now approximately 400 years old, serves as one of the historical witnesses to the spread of Islam in the Kingdom of Banggae in the early 16th century.
