BINA Holiday and Back to School 2026 Officially Launched

To encourage tourism, shopping, and domestic consumption during the school holiday season, the Belanja di Indonesia Aja (BINA) movement is once again presenting the BINA Holiday & Back to School 2026 program, which will run from June 8 to July 12, 2026. The program is part of BINA’s national agenda aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s economy through collaboration among the retail, shopping center, MSME, and tourism sectors.

BINA Holiday & Back to School 2026 is designed as a family shopping initiative that integrates travel, shopping, and entertainment experiences into a single ecosystem. Shopping malls and retail outlets across Indonesia will offer discounts of up to 50%, a variety of exciting mall activities, and special promotions to welcome the holiday season and the back to school period.

The program involves an extensive network of participants, including 800 brands, 80,000 retail outlets, and 414 shopping center members across 24 provinces in Indonesia. Through this large scale participation, BINA Holiday & Back to School is expected to boost tourist arrivals and shopping activities in various regions throughout the country.

In addition to promotional programs at shopping centers, BINA will also present a special event, BBWI x Road to BINA Holiday, which will take place from May 15 to 17, 2026, at Tunjungan Plaza, Surabaya. The event will feature a variety of travel packages, retail bazaars, and promotions for leading destinations and products that support the Belanja di Indonesia Aja movement. The event is expected to strengthen synergy between the tourism and trade sectors while creating a more engaging holiday experience for the public.

BINA Holiday & Back to School is also part of an ongoing effort to increase consumer purchasing power while expanding market access for local products and MSMEs. Through collaboration among various stakeholders, the program is expected to generate a positive multiplier effect for the retail, tourism, and creative economy sectors across Indonesia.

With a duration of more than one month, the organizers are targeting potential transactions of up to IDR 30 trillion, making it one of the largest consumer stimulus programs during Indonesia’s school holiday period. The public is encouraged to take advantage of the attractive offers while supporting national economic growth by shopping and traveling within Indonesia.
