Masjid Jami Kiai Gede

The Jami Kiai Gede Mosque is the oldest mosque in Central Kalimantan, built around 1632 AD. This mosque stands as evidence of the early spread of Islam in the Kotawaringin region by a Javanese cleric named Kiai Gede. The building is constructed of ironwood and is a relic of the Kotawaringin Sultanate.
