Located in Bandung, the Al-Jabbar Grand Mosque is a stunningly modern and monumental mosque, often referred to as the "Floating Mosque" because it is surrounded by a large reservoir. Designed by former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, its architecture is a masterful blend of contemporary design and traditional elements, featuring over 6,000 glass panels arranged like fish scales that make up its facade and dome. Inaugurated in late 2022, it serves as a new landmark for the province and includes an Islamic history museum on its lower level.
