Gebrag Ngadu Bedug

Gebrak Ngadu Bedug originated from efforts to preserve the tradition of ngadu bedug, which was regularly held around Pandeglang Square to welcome Eid al-Fitr. After being suspended for more than 30 years, the ngadu bedug tradition was revived with the aim of reviving local cultural heritage. This tradition involves the participation of thousands of people from various villages and outside the region. Gebrak Ngadu Bedug is more than just a celebration; it has become the identity of the Pandeglang community, uniting them in a spirit of togetherness and cultural preservation. As a side event, Gebrak Ngadu Bedug is also enlivened by a number of other activities, such as the planting of 1,000 coconut trees and the MSME Exhibition as a forum to boost the local economy through the exhibition of superior products.
