The Old Wapauwe Mosque in Central Maluku, Ambon, is unique because its structure was built without using a single nail at any of its wooden joints. The walls and structure of this mosque are constructed from wood and natural materials such as dried sago palm fronds, giving it a very traditional appearance while remaining sturdy to this day.
