Linto Baro

The Linto Baro is a traditional Acehnese outfit worn by grooms during traditional wedding ceremonies. The term Linto Baro translates to "groom" in the Acehnese language. This attire reflects the grandeur and rich symbolism of Acehnese culture.

Characteristics:
The upper garment is a baju kurung or long coat in black or dark colors, adorned with gold embroidery featuring traditional Acehnese motifs. The lower garment is a songket fabric with gold or silver patterns, paired with an ornamental belt. The ensemble includes the traditional Meukeutop headpiece and a Rencong—the traditional Acehnese dagger—symbolizing bravery.

Philosophical Meaning:
The black and gold colors signify greatness, courage, and dignity, while the traditional embellishments represent the sanctity and beauty of marriage.
