Geopark Merangin Jambi

One of the unique features of Merangin Geopark is the discovery of Jambi plant fossils embedded in some rock formations, estimated to be around 296 million years old. This prehistoric site is also recognized as one of the best rafting spots. Visitors can enjoy rafting along the Batang Merangin River while stopping at several points to view the fossils.
