Geopark Batur

Geopark Batur became the first geopark in Indonesia to be listed in the UNESCO Global Geopark in 2012, and it has amazing tourism potential. One of the attractions here is the natural beauty formed from the eruption traces of Mount Batur. It's famous for its volcanic caldera, which is one of the largest and most beautiful calderas in the world, Batur Lake which is crescent-shaped and stretches for 7.5 km, and Mount Batur.
