Masjid Jami Al-Yaqin

The Jami Al-Yaqin Mosque is one of the historic places of worship located in Bandar Lampung City. The mosque dates back to the 1800s and served as one of the centers for the spread of Islam in the southern part of Sumatra Island. In addition to its function as a place of worship, the mosque also played a role as a base of resistance for local communities and Islamic scholars. It is known that religious gatherings (pengajian) were held as a means of fostering unity and resisting Dutch colonial rule. Despite being more than 200 years old, the mosque has retained its traditional architectural character, giving it a distinctive and unique appearance.
