The Darussalam Grand Mosque, established around 1974 by PT TIMAH Tbk, was originally named As Salam 2 Mosque. Over time, the mosque was handed over to the local community to be utilized and managed as a shared place of worship. From 1974 to 2025, the mosque has undergone three renovations aimed at providing greater comfort for Muslim worshippers in the Manggar area.
