Festival Tumbilotohe

About The Event

The Tumbilotohe Festival is an annual celebration in Gorontalo, where residents light bottle lamps in their yards and along the streets to mark the end of Ramadan. This year, the festival will take place from April 6 to 9, 2024, across six locations in Gorontalo’s districts and cities.

The theme for this year's Tumbilotohe Festival is “Green Tourism,” emphasizing the push for more environmentally friendly practices. Around 80% of the traditional lamps used will be powered by coconut oil, known as Tohe Tutu, which is emission-free.
