Festival Sangiang Api

Sangiang Api Wera Festival is a cultural and marine tourism celebration held in Sangiang Village, Wera, Bima Regency. Taking place from late July to early August, the festival showcases traditional boat racing, cultural performances, weaving parades, culinary fairs, and eco-exploration of Mount Sangiang. The 2026 edition highlights sport tourism activities, including a 10K Fun Run, Bike Tour Sape–Sangiang, and traditional sailboat competition. More than a cultural event, the festival promotes Bima’s natural beauty, local traditions, and creative economy while offering an unforgettable travel experience for both domestic and international visitors.
