Festival Budaya Cai Diraga

The Cai Diraga Cultural Festival is an annual celebration in Cirebon that preserves the Larung Cai tradition as a form of gratitude to nature. Organized by the Midang Waringin Jati Foundation, the festival enters its 7th edition in 2026 and involves local communities, elders, and regional leaders. The main ritual features water carried from nine sacred springs, paraded from Kawedanan Ciledug to the meeting point of the Cijangkelok and Cisanggarung Rivers. Through rituals, arts, and cultural performances, the festival invites the public to honor local wisdom and protect the rivers as vital sources of life.
