Gunung Gede Pangrango

Mount Gede is still active, while Mount Pangrango is inactive. Both are located in Cibodas Park, near Jakarta. There are plenty of accommodations, eateries, guides, and porters available. TNGGP (Mount Gede Pangrango National Park) has three official hiking routes: Cibodas: The most popular and easiest route, starting from the Cibodas Botanical Garden. This trail passes by the beautiful Cibeureum waterfall and the Blue Lake. Gunung Putri: A steeper and more challenging route, starting from Gunung Putri Village. Selabintana: The longest and quietest route, starting from the Selabintana Nature Tourism Area.
