Masjid Al-Alam Kendari

The Al-Alam Mosque is a mosque located in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, commonly known as the floating mosque. The idea for its construction was initiated and began in 2010 during the administration of Governor Nur Alam, and it was officially inaugurated in 2018.The Al-Alam Mosque has become an iconic landmark of Kendari City, attracting both local residents and visitors. Its four minarets were designed by an architect from South Sulawesi, Mursyid Mustafa, and are inspired by the design of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
