Seba Baduy
Seba Baduy is an annual traditional ritual of the Baduy community in Lebak Regency, Banten, as an expression of gratitude for the harvest and a form of obedience to the local government. This ritual, which has been carried out since the era of the Banten Sultanate, is a highly anticipated cultural moment as well as a platform to promote tourism in Lebak. The series of events includes welcoming the Baduy delegation, a babacakan communal dinner, the recitation of the rajah seba, and spending the evening (sapeuting) together with the Baduy community. The festival also features various side events such as weaving workshops, MSME exhibitions, music performances, wayang golek, traditional games, a camping ground, and cultural talks.
