Global Tourism Forum - Annual Meeting (GTF-AM)

GTF AM is an annual flagship event organized by the World Tourism Forum Institute (WTFI), aimed at bringing together policymakers, business leaders, associations, investors, digital influencers, and other key stakeholders in the global tourism sector to discuss the latest developments and map the future direction of global tourism. GTF AM 2022 carried the theme "Time for Travel & Tourism – from Words to Actions," and was held in collaboration with the Indonesia Tourism Forum (ITF) as the organizing partner. The event was attended by 227 participants in person and approximately 30 online, with 52 speakers (32 international speakers and 20 domestic speakers, both in person and online).

This meeting is expected to serve as a platform to showcase best practices in Indonesia’s tourism recovery efforts, while also strengthening Bali’s strategic position as a leading global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) destination. Furthermore, through B2B and B2G meetings, the event aims to open access to foreign investment for national tourism project leaders.
