History of Rajekwesi Museum

Founded in 1992, Rajekwesi Museum was originally established within the premises of the local Department of Education to safeguard historic objects collected by the community. In 2013, its collection was relocated to a more suitable building to enhance preservation and public access. 

Recently, the museum was officially reopened in a historic building in the center of Bojonegoro, reinforcing its role as a modern, dynamic cultural space.

  • Prehistoric fossils and animal remains
  • Ancient inscriptions, such as the prized Adan-adan Inscription. 
  • Cultural artifacts representing local life and traditions.
