Wakatobi Wonderful Festival and Expo (Wakatobi WAVE)

Wakatobi Wonderful Festival and Expo (Wakatobi WAVE) is an annual event since 2015 organized by the Wakatobi Regency Government to promote Wakatobi as one of Indonesia’s 10 National Priority Tourist Destinations. Listed in the 100 Wonders National Events and 100 Charisma Archipelago Events, the festival highlights Wakatobi’s rich maritime culture, boosts domestic and international tourism, and supports local economic growth. Wakatobi WAVE features cultural performances, tourism exhibitions, and regional attractions, serving as an effective platform to showcase Wakatobi’s unique tourism potential to visitors from around the world.
