Solu Bolon Festival

The Solu Bolon Festival 2025 showcases a captivating blend of cultural and sports tourism. The main highlight is Mangebang Solu, a cultural ritual featuring Mangadati Pande Gorga, Mangadati Raja Huta, Pangurasan Solu Bolon, and the symbolic launch of Solu Bolon, followed by a ceremonial seven-time circumnavigation of the lake. These rituals reflect the Batak community’s deep values of unity, teamwork, and mutual respect.

Additionally, the festival presents Opera Batak, a traditional performance art combining drama, music, dance, and songs to narrate folklore or contemporary societal issues.
