Gandrung Sewu

Gandrung Sewu is a spectacular annual cultural festival in Banyuwangi featuring thousands of Gandrung dancers performing in a grand synchronized choreography. First held in 2012, this event takes place at Boom Beach with the Bali Strait as its natural backdrop, making it one of the region’s most iconic tourism attractions. Gandrung Sewu also serves as a cultural platform for youth to preserve and celebrate Banyuwangi’s heritage.
