The Walima Festival is an annual religious tradition in Gorontalo held to commemorate the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This tradition is one of the oldest cultural heritages, dating back to the era of the Islamic kingdoms in Gorontalo. The activity is regularly organized by the Bubohu Bongo Religious Tourism Village, located in the Batudaa District of Gorontalo Regency.
