Beautiful Malino

Beautiful Malino, organized by the Gowa Regency Government through the Department of Tourism and Culture, first took place in July 2017 with the theme "Malino Heritage," highlighting the city’s historical significance before and after Indonesia’s independence. The event continued with various themes: "Malino Back to Nature" (2018) to promote environmental conservation, "Malino Romantic" (2019) celebrating the city’s aesthetic natural beauty, and "Happiness" (2023) reflecting joy after the pandemic. In 2024, Beautiful Malino will feature the theme "Harmoni," emphasizing the balance between nature and human life. The 2025 edition, held from July 11-14, will showcase traditional games and celebrate diversity with the theme "Colors in Malino," reflecting the vibrant life of the city.
