Festival Payung Indonesia

The Indonesia Umbrella Festival (FESPIN) is a festival celebrating traditional Indonesian umbrellas through art, culture, and community participation. Entering its 13th edition in 2026, FESPIN adopts the theme “Catra Padi – Under the Umbrella of Dewi Sri”, highlighting food security and the historical role of rice in Indonesia. Held in public spaces, the festival showcases umbrella art installations created by various art communities and engages creative economy groups, environmental communities, and influencers. FESPIN also maintains a sister-festival partnership with the Bosang Umbrella Festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
