Festival Budaya Isen Mulang

The Festival Budaya Isen Mulang (FBIM) is Central Kalimantan’s iconic annual event, showcasing the richness of Dayak culture since 1993. This vibrant festival features traditional sports, games, arts, and cuisine, highlighting the unique heritage of the Dayak people. Representatives from across the province participate, presenting cultural performances that celebrate community traditions and values.

With the theme "Spirit of Isen Mulang" (The Spirit of Perseverance), FBIM reflects the unwavering dedication of the Dayak people to preserving and sharing their cultural identity. It aims to promote and sustain local traditions while inspiring pride in the region's heritage.

Scheduled for May 18–24, 2025, the event takes place at the Multipurpose Sports Hall (GOR Serbaguna) in Palangka Raya and other key city venues. Easily accessible and well-equipped, FBIM invites both domestic and international visitors to experience the captivating traditions of Central Kalimantan.
