Rote Malole Festival

The Rote Malole Festival 2025 carries the theme: "ADVANCING TOURISM, PROSPEROUS AND SOVEREIGN ROTE NDAO", which aims to realize the transformation of Rote Ndao towards a golden Indonesia through a sovereign, progressive, just, and prosperous tourism sector. The word Malole comes from the Rote language, meaning GOOD.Through the Rote Malole Festival, it is hoped that there will be a positive impact on the preservation of arts and culture in Rote Ndao Regency, as well as an increase in income for local MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises).

Thus, Rote Ndao is committed to improving productivity through the enhancement of human and natural resources, innovation, collaboration, and productive economy in the tourism and creative industries sectors while maintaining and preserving the values of local customs, culture, and wisdom within the community.
