Festival Gunung Slamet

The Gunung Slamet Festival is an annual cultural celebration in Serang Village, Purbalingga, featuring the sacred Tuk Sikopyah water ritual, the traditional tomato battle, and the signature local dish, Nasi 3G. The event also highlights the Grand Slamet Mountain Dance, Cultural Showcases from tourism villages, the misty Akustik Kabut Lembut concert, Suaraloka Gunung Slamet, and a mass release of LED balloons. Combining cultural rituals, music, and local culinary heritage, the festival attracts visitors while strengthening community engagement and promoting the natural and cultural charm of Mount Slamet.
