The construction of this mosque was initiated by the COO of PT. Borneo Indobara R. Utoro as a form of the company's CSR program[3] for Tanah Bumbu Regency. The construction implementation began in 2019 to 2023 during the leadership of 2 Regents of Tanah Bumbu Regency, which was initiated by the Regent for the 2018-2021 period H. Sudian Noor, which was then continued and inaugurated on November 26, 2023[4] by the Regent for the 2021-2024 period dr. H. M. Zairullah Azhar, M.Sc.
