The Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah (Great Mosque of Central Java), located in Semarang, is the official provincial mosque and one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in Indonesia, completed in 2006. Its design is a spectacular blend of Javanese, Middle Eastern, and Roman architecture, creating a grand and unique landmark. The mosque is characterized by a massive central dome, four corner minarets, and the towering Asmaul Husna Minaret, which stands approximately 99 meters tall and offers visitors a panoramic view of the city.
