Pesona Tabuik Budaya Piaman

Pesona Budaya Tabuik Piaman 2025 will be held over 10 days, from June 27 to July 6, 2025, coinciding with 1 to 10 Muharram 1447 H. This event is held to commemorate the Islamic New Year, celebrated every 1st of Muharram, with activities taking place in various locations in Pariaman Tengah District.

The Pesona Budaya Tabuik Piaman 2025 event is divided into two categories: Main Events and Supporting Events. The Main Events will begin with the Maambiak Tanah procession. This meaningful procession will include several traditional ceremonies, such as the Manabang Batang Pisang procession, the Maradai procession, the Turun Panja procession, the Maatam procession, followed by the Maarak Jari-Jari and Maarak Saroban processions. The grand finale will be the Tabuik Naiak Pangkek and Tabuik Dibuang Ka Lauik processions, marking a festive and solemn conclusion. During this period, the making of Tabuik will also take place at Rumah Tabuik Pasa and Rumah Tabuik Subarang, highlighting the importance of this tradition in the local culture.
