Kauman Batik Art Fest

Kauman Batik Art Fest 2026 is an annual festival from Kampoeng Batik Kauman Pekalongan, held under the theme “Equal Feeling, One Love for Culture.” The event invites youth and people with disabilities to help preserve batik through a cross-generation sarong cultural parade, natural dye batik workshops, and inclusive talkshows and fashion shows featuring Indonesian textiles. The festival also presents a cooking demo of Pekalongan’s signature dishes by local hotel chefs. Kauman Batik Art Fest serves as a creative space celebrating diversity, culture, and the rich batik heritage of Pekalongan.
