Festival Budaya Melayu

The Festival Melayu Kalbar XIV 2025 is ready to make its grand return with a fresh spirit to preserve and promote the rich Malay culture that has deeply rooted in West Kalimantan! As one of the largest cultural festivals in West Kalimantan, FMKB aims to encourage the involvement of the tourism sector and the creative economy (SMEs) to enhance economic transactions and attract more domestic and international visitors.

For a full week, this festival will present a series of spectacular events, including the Opening Night, Cultural Parade, as well as traditional Dance Performances, Traditional Sports, both Traditional and Modern Music, and Malay Oral Literature such as pantun, syair, and storytelling. The festival will also feature a cultural seminar delving into the development of Malay arts and culture in West Kalimantan.
