Ngikis Singaperbangsa is a cultural tradition of the community in Cisaga Village, Ciamis Regency, held as a form of respect for ancestors and a spiritual purification ritual ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The tradition reflects strong spiritual, historical, and communal values.
The event takes place on February 14–15, 2026, at the Singaperbangsa site in Mekarmukti Village, Cisaga District. The activities include collective prayers, traditional rituals, the replacement of bamboo fences around the site, and traditional art performances.
As part of local wisdom, Ngikis Singaperbangsa also serves as a cultural tourism attraction, offering an authentic experience while preserving the cultural identity of the Ciamis community.
