The ASEAN +3 Task Force Meeting

The ASEAN+3 Task Force meeting opened the series of Indonesia's ASEAN Chairmanship agenda in the Finance Track as well as Co-Chairmanship together with Japan for the ASEAN+3 (ASEAN and China, Japan, South Korea) cooperation forum. The theme was “ASEAN Matters: Epicenter of Growth”. During the meeting, a number of matters were discussed, including the development of a comprehensive regional financial stability safety net architecture and the strengthening of the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization (CMIM) mechanism as one of the existing financial stability safety facilities. In addition, the TF Meeting also discussed the ASEAN+3 Future Initiative and thematic agenda, namely Indonesia's proposal for ASEAN+3 to discuss and deepen the development of household debt database and sustainable finance. 
For both agendas, the Ministry of Finance together with AMRO will develop work plans and joint studies to be discussed together with ASEAN+3 countries in order to strengthen AMRO's surveillance framework and the development of new initiatives in the region related to sustainable finance which are very relevant to the development of the agenda discussed in the global world today.
