The festival also marks World Dance Day on April 29th, celebrated grandly in Solo City.

By showcasing the growing creativity in dance within the community, Solo Menari 2025 aims to boost the creative economy and promote Solo's tourism potential to the world. Through dance works inspired by nature, this event strengthens Solo’s position as a Creative City in Craft and Folk Art, recently recognized by UNESCO.
