Sa-IJAAN Cultural Festival “Magic From The Sea”

The Sa-ijaan Cultural Festival “Magic From The Sea” (FBS#11_2025) is the flagship event of Kotabaru Regency, celebrating its 11th edition. The festival highlights the rich diversity of multi-ethnic cultures and the unity of its people, aligned with the local motto "Sa-ijaan," which means harmony, agreement, and unity. This motto continues to serve as the guiding principle for the people of Kotabaru.

The festival aims to boost Kotabaru’s tourism by embracing the region's cultural wealth, promoting the preservation of marine ecosystems, and empowering the community through collaboration. It showcases the region’s maritime wisdom and strives to create a world-class tourism event that is competitive and appealing to visitors, especially in the context of the future development of the Nusantara Capital City.
